Business Partner Team - Large Retail Financial Services Group

The client had undertaken a strategic review of its entire HR operation resulting in the need to recruit a significant number of new HR executive positions. SyBlue were called in towards the end of this campaign, to recruit the remaining ‘hard to fill’ positions that the client’s usual recruiters were unable to complete. The new culture required an uncompromising, high potential, commercially oriented candidate profile, often based in difficult locations. The situation was further complicated by a run of bad publicity.

SyBlue completed on all these positions within the agreed timetable. Subsequently these candidates have performed above their peer group, have all been promoted and represent most of the high potential succession pool.


Head of HR, France – FTSE 50 Manufacturing plc

The brief was to recruit an HR executive who could transform the people agenda in France. The background was a series of successful businesses that were not achieving full potential due to inadequate performance management, poor people processes, inefficient communications and under exploitation of synergies across a disconnected leadership group. The candidate had to be French, with fluent English and have a successful track record in an international business, having operated in more than one country.

SyBlue delivered a short list within 3 weeks of commencing the assignment from which a successful appointment was made.


Pipeline Senior HR Talent Search - Global top 20 company

The challenge is to identify and engage top-decile candidates, on an on-going basis as part of a generic talent search, but not for specific positions. The candidates had to come from the most highly regarded international businesses and the geographical remit was UK, rest of Europe and Asia. As well as an outstanding track record of HR and commercial leadership, the candidates had to demonstrate other qualities that would differentiate themselves from and add positive value to the existing highly capable HR team.

SyBlue has kept the pipeline of relevant candidates in constant flow and delivered the required target of an on profile hire every two months.
