Location:  Uxbridge

This organisation is one of the world's largest quick service restaurants with over 20,000 employees throughout the UK and Ireland. Total revenue for the North West Europe region almost reaches almost 1.3 billion. Our client our looking to recruit a Director of Human Resources for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Based in London, this individual will lead the Human Resources function and be a key member of senior management. The person will be instrumental in driving organizational momentum during the next phase of growth and focus.

 

This position takes direct operational and strategic responsibility for the UK and Nordic regions. It will also take responsibility for a designated HR specialism and projects across the whole EMEA region.

 

A dynamic change is required to support the growth of the business and the new strategy, in terms of process, structure and HR challenges. Thus, this HR transformation requires a more pan-European HR expert in the role, to continue to align HR to the business strategy and continuously improve the level in Europe.

The successfull candidate will be an experience, well-rounded International HR executive with an upward trajectory. In addition you will have gained relevant experience with all aspects of HR within admired multinational organisations. You will have a proven track record in successfully building HR functions and strategies to support growth.

HR Director Designate Programme 2008

Our client is a world-renowned international employer, continually placed within the top 5 of the FTSE 100. The group operates in over 140 countries and territories and employs more than 112,000 people.

The group ensures that its employees continuously acquire new skills and capabilities, through training and experience in their own countries and on secondments and assignments abroad.

 

Unlike many major organisations, this company takes the people agenda seriously as HR has risen to be a key business partner and the organisation has a great reputation for its HR Capability. They now wish to increase the global capacity for HR and, in doing so, raise the bench standard in general and upgrade the pipeline for future senior executive talent in particular.

 

The organisation is looking to hire individuals who have excelled within challenging environments and have a proven track record of not only fast track career progression, but also the continual development and implementation of sound HR strategy that are business aligned.

 

This is an external search for top talent rather than a response to specific vacancies.

 

Roles will be built on behalf of our client around the particular operational and strategic skills and experiences of individuals. This will be combined with an evaluation of how those skills can be best utilised for the benefit of the business.

 

Initial roles may be project based rather than specific management positions. They will also be aligned with senior mentors. During this period the individual will learn about the business, build their network and create personal credibility through development of effective relationships in general and the delivery of added value initiatives in particular.

 

This ‘induction' period is planned to last for 6 to 9 months at which point the individual will move into a senior line role. Depending on previous experience this is likely to be at Global or Unit HR Director or Global VP succession Level.
